QUILT TIL YOU WILT
It's back by popular demand and many requests. Spend the evening and work on a project (or two) uninterrupted until you just can’t sew anymore? Grab your project, sewing machine and supplies, come to the shop at 4:30pm and sew till??? (You wilt) Cathy will be your hostess and instructor if you need help with a project. It’s a great opportunity to meet other quilters and just have a fun evening. We will have a potluck dinner so bring a favorite dish to share. Beverage will be supplied.
Winter 2020 Quilting Classes, Clubs & Events
January, February & March 2020
REGISTRATION INFORMATION: You may register at the shop in person, by telephone (410-263-3897), or by mail to 4 Annapolis St., Annapolis, Md. 21401. Please register early as classes will be cancelled if a minimum number of students is not met. You may cancel a class registration no later than one week prior to the class and receive store credit. Cancellations within one week prior to start of class will receive no refunds. If a class is cancelled by the shop, full refunds will be given. Please come to class ten minutes prior to start time and bring all your supplies needed. Bring a machine in good working order that you know how to operate. This makes it possible to cover all the class content thoroughly. For day classes, you can bring your lunch or go to one of the good restaurants on our street. Time will be allowed for lunch.
All classes are cancelled. A revised schedule will be provided at a later date.

Longarm Rental Program Introduction Class
Learn how to quilt on a longarm machine. You will learn how to properly load a quilt onto a frame, what proper tension is. We will also discuss and practice using free motion quilting and pantographs.
Once you have completed this class, you will be allowed to rent time on the Handi Quilter Amara.
You may wish to bring a notebook and pen.
Maximum 3 people per class to allow for individual attention.
Classes are not being held until further notice

HANDI-QUILTER CLUBS & EVENTS
Clubs are free to those who purchased their machine from us. BUT WE ARE OPEN TO OTHERS FOR AN "ADOPTION FEE"
If you have purchased a machine elsewhere you can still join our club for an annal fee of $75. All clubs feature a lesson and/or ProStitcher discussion. Show & Tell of all levels of work is highly encouraged. We learn a great deal from each other, and have a lot of fun.

HANDI QUILTER CLUB
Handi Quilter club meets each month and offers different topics to help you become more comfortable with your longarm quilting machine. We also encourage you to bring show and tell.
Starting in November, 2019 we will meet on Saturdays. Our Handi Quilter club will be at 11:00am followed by the Prostitcher club at 11:30am

We are thrilled to host a trunk show featuring quilts made by Adam and Jane.
Admission to the event is one yard of kids fabric to donate and support
The Annapolis Quilts for Kids.
Annapolis Quilts for Kids is a local, non-profit chapter of Quilts for Kids, Inc. based out of Fairless Hills, PA. They provide comfort to children in need through the gift of handmade patchwork quilts, quilted tote bags and pillowcases. In 2019, the Annapolis chapter distributed 182 quilts, 56 quilted tote bags and 30 pillowcases. These items go to children's hospitals and shelters in Maryland and Virginia.

We’ll explore designs like waves with channels, curved crosshatching, and echoing around applique. Rulers will become your ne w favorite quilting design tool.

Adam Rateliff
Adam enjoys teaching quilting classes at local shops, guilds, and in his home studio. His passion is paper piecing and he enjoys seeing others get excited about it along with him. He also spends time helping and encouraging other longarm owners to step out of their comfort zone, whether it be with rulers, free motion quilting, or creatively blending Pro-Stitcher designs with free motion work. He loves to show other Handi Quilter owners how to navigate around their machines and help them build confidence in their adventure. Adam is also a member of the Handi Quilter Inspiration Squad. A native of California, he currently resides in Oregon with his family and their dogs. He loves the beauty and inspiration the Pacific Northwest provides on a daily basis. Jane Hauprich
Jane has been piecing quilts for about 17 years. It wasn’t until 2009, when she discovered longarm quilting, that quilting became her passion. She started free motion quilting on a domestic machine, then an HQ Sweet Sixteen® and then an HQ Avanté®. She still enjoys using all of these machines.
Jane is a self-taught longarm quilter who specializes in custom free motion quilting. She is an award winning quilter who loves to share her knowledge of quilting with other quilters. She enjoys teaching as a Handi Quilter Educator and on her own at quilt shops and national quilt shows. Jane’s philosophy is that no matter what type of machine one uses , domestic, short-arm or longarm, anyone can learn to custom quilt. Her goal when teaching is to equip each student with as much information and knowledge as possible. Jane resides on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. You can read more about Jane and see her quilting at
